Things are shaping up. Row by row, the ugliness is disappearing and our bathroom is getting sleeker and shinier. The tile man told us he should have the tiling finished tomorrow (Tuesday) and the grouting on Wednesday.
My jaw dropped when I walked in the room this evening. It just looks so good, especially because the tile man took great pains to lay it out well and work around all the crookedness and imperfections of this old house. It's still a work in progress, but I think I'm going to love the end result. Ez pointed out how much bigger and brighter this space looks now -- important because there are no windows -- and I can just see it all coming together.

ReplyDeleteThe tiled area contains the shower and toilet. It's about a third of the whole bathroom. It's a big bathroom!
