Kitchen Update

This may not look like anything to you, but to us it's called Progress.

I took this photo through the back window because the old front door and windows are finally gone. (Plywood covering a hole counts as an improvement.) The plumbing ground work is in. The last of the gravel is in and level. Next up: the first concrete pour, which will finally connect the floor to the foundation (important!), scheduled to take place next week.

Special thanks to my father-in-law for his work and expertise with this stuff.

Will we have some sort of basic, functional kitchen by winter? Possibly.

Will my next post have pictures that aren't dark and blurry for a change? No promises.
