A smile for your weekend

This is the mischievous grin of a dimpled baby who refuses to sleep in her bassinet (or any other baby-holding apparatus) at night. Good thing she's got the cutes, because it makes her parents' exhaustion much easier to handle.

HOUSE UPDATE: The framing inspector came and looked at the kitchen yesterday, and it did not go very well. He didn't seem to factor in that we're doing a renovation on a wonky old house, not a new build. We're in the process of working it out. Wish us luck.

This may sound cliche, but I can't believe it's Labor Day weekend already. We're going to keep it low-key, try to catch up on some rest and enjoy our sweet little chickadee while she's still small. This year is flying by, and I know her baby days will fly by too.
