And Away She Goes!

My little baby is now a toddler. Yesterday she took her walking skills to a whole new level, crossing the living room at my in-laws' house over and over and over, celebrating with hugs and glee-laced giggles each time she reached her destination. We steadily expanded the space between us to see how far she would go, and she took each new distance in stride. I could tell she was very proud of herself for being so brave and strong.

It's kind of funny how Johnnie walks much better when she's carrying something -- my mom compares it to little Dumbo and his feather.
