A whole post dedicated to wood putty

That's right. But if I can save you some trouble in the future, it will be worth it. After hour upon hour of trying to awkwardly fill the nail holes in our new trim and baseboard with a bad/sticky choice in wood putty, we have discovered the ultimate lifesaver for all your hole-filling needs:

It comes out sort of foamy, spreads easily (we preferred using our fingers instead of the applicator) and hardens as it dries. I wish we'd discovered this when we were renting. It cut our hole-filling time in half. Two thumbs up for anything that makes tedious tasks faster and easier!
